Mt. Franklin Insurance Acquires Property and Casualty Business of Balmer Insurance
EL PASO, Texas, January 5, 2021 – Bill Carvajal and Shane Lipson, principals and co-founders of Mt. Franklin Insurance, announce the acquisition of the property and casualty business of Balmer Insurance Group effective December 15, 2020. Balmer Insurance Group was founded in 1985 and is a full service agency located at 481 N. Resler, Suite D. Dean Balmer, its founder, continues to provide employee benefits services, while partnering with Mt. Franklin to transition property and casualty clients. This is the ninth acquisition by Mt. Franklin Insurance since its founding in 2010 and enhances Mt. Franklin’s position as the largest independent, locally owned insurance agency in El Paso. Mt. Franklin is a full service brokerage offering commercial and personal insurance from locations in West, Central and East El Paso.
